Compassion for Africa is a Christian organization established by Pastor Joe Gorman, dedicated to serving local communities in Africa. Currently we serve in Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi, coming alongside the residents of these countries through local pastoral leadership to provide micro-loans for community development projects such as sustainable businesses for handicapped men and women in DRCongo, purchasing sewing machines for women, digging wells, building schools, starting pig-raising businesses for at-risk girls in northern Ghana, creating literacy programs, and providing housing for HIV/AIDS widows and their children in Rwanda.

Our goal is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ not just in words, but in very practical ways that build the Kingdom of God and lead to human flourishing, resulting in lasting joy and peace.
